Prior to Macro, Ahmed worked for Aimia (a global leader in Data Driven Marketing and Loyalty) as a Commercial Director with full responsibility for driving expansion of Aimia’s business and brand equity in KSA market. Before Aimia, worked as Regional Head for the global Financial Services giant, American Express.


  • Winner of Loyalty Magazine Award 30 under 40 category for the year of 2018. The Loyalty Magazine Award is the largest event in loyalty industry that takes place every year in London.

  • Led a number of innovation and growth strategy projects that resulted in exponential growth and new revenue stream for clients in the private and public sectors.

  • Led the design, implementation and launch of the first whole of bank loyalty program in KSA. The program was nominated for the best new loyalty program in middle east in 2015 and won the best loyalty program award of the banker middle east 2016

  • Co-designed the loyalty program blue print for the largest pharmacy retail brand in middle east. The program captured a massive number of customers over 18 months from launch and won MENA retailer award in 2014

  • Launched major products with American express targeting different commercial and consumer segments including Amex Centurion Card (Black Card) targeting HNW and Amex Corporate Card targeting larger corporations.
